What do you do at Precis? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily work at the Precis?
I am a senior SEO consultant with some responsibility for our SEO offering and tools. My daily work consists of helping my colleagues with complex SEO tasks for their clients, helping my own select clients and working on improving our SEO offering with better tools or more detailed processes.
Tell us a bit about yourself! What did you do before joining Precis?
I worked with SEO for a very small start-up, where we also helped other websites with SEO.
As you’ve grown in your career here, can you share some of the highlights and key learnings?
I was quickly recognised for my experience with SEO and thus quickly promoted to higher levels. I have also gotten the freedom to learn how to program tools and other things, making me even more valuable and furthering my career. Precis also helped present or at least make my presentations better.
If you had to describe the most thrilling aspect of your work using only emojis and a brief caption, what would they be?
Teaching others what I know ! 🧠
How would you describe the culture at Precis?
Precis has a very good culture, with less hierarchy, no competition, and focus on the individual.

Tell us a bit about yourself! What did you do before joining Precis?
I’ve studied Business Management and Marketing and landed my first marketing internship more than 12 years ago. Digital marketing was so much different back then, so the constant development in this field has kept me curious and interested over the years. I have worked in a few agencies as well as on clients’ side in different industries, mostly with e-commerce. Working in an agency is definitely far more rewarding in terms of personal growth and development but it is also important to know one’s boundaries as it can also become quite challenging.
What do you do at Precis? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily work at the company?
At Precis I am a Senior Digital Specialist with focus on project management as an operational client lead. This means that I overlook the team’s daily work, communicate with clients on a daily basis and make sure that our work helps our clients achieve their business goals. In addition, my expertise lies in Paid Social, for which I create strategies, optimise the accounts and report on results. I advise colleagues on Paid Social and contribute with my knowledge on other topics that I find more interesting. For example, I personally like working on reporting and dashboarding, telling stories with numbers and finding clues and patterns among a myriad of data.
How would you describe the culture at Precis?
I honestly love the culture in Precis. Like I mentioned above, agency work can become quite challenging if you don’t know or set your boundaries, but in Precis we really help each other out with making sure that everyone is treated equally and fairly. When a team member is struggling with workload, we all help prioritise and support.
Also, our management is close to all employees, even though there are more than 500 of us in many offices around the world. Our company objectives are communicated clearly, we all know our role and how we can contribute to the success of our clients as well as Precis. We set our own OKRs to define our professional development, each teammate individually.
Employees’ health gets a lot of attention – physical as well as mental. There are tools and people within the company that support each of us whenever there is a more challenging period. We value feedback and honesty, my colleagues are ambitious, self-driven and highly knowledgeable, but also great as persons and super fun to work with.
Are there any company traditions you enjoy in particular?
The yearly Precis Festival is a great way to get to know our colleagues from other offices and other countries. We have so many talented people working in Precis and the Festival really brings us together to celebrate all that. In addition, we do a lot in the Oslo office, where I work: we play paddle together, we have video games and board games in the office, we have movie nights, weekly fikas, Halloween party and of course Christmas party. But we also often do other things together, which are not organised by the company. That really shows that we are not simply colleagues but rather friends that we enjoy spending time with. Among the fun & play, one of the Precis traditions that I highly appreciate is the Mental Health month initiative, where we put more focus on balancing work and personal life, talk more openly about mental health, and we even get an additional day off to do something to support our mental health.
Erik Wikberg
Senior Art Director and Team Lead, Gothenburg
What do you do at Precis? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily work at the company?
As a Senior Art Director and Team Lead, my daily responsibilities revolve around crafting campaigns and establishing creative structures for our clients, which are grounded in both data and creative insights. I collaborate with Creative Strategists and Digital Marketing Specialists in ideation sessions, where we design campaigns based on actionable data points. We also engage in testing discussions to identify hypotheses for optimising our clients’ advertising. Additionally, I ensure our ideas are transformed into reality with the assistance of my teammates, paying close attention to every detail and ensuring each campaign runs as smoothly as possible.
As you’ve grown in your career here, can you share some of the highlights and key learnings?
My most important key learning is: data is the key. There’s an abundance of it, but understanding its significance is crucial. My years at Precis have provided me with profound insights into areas that are often overlooked in creative roles. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with digital marketing teams and strategists, which has allowed me to delve into campaign performance and influencing factors in an entirely new light. There are no simple answers to campaign performance anymore, but there’s always something new to learn each time we evaluate our creative work, which is something I, as a naturally curious person, truly appreciate.”
How would you describe the culture at Precis?
Precis has a fantastic culture! It’s a place where driven and curious individuals can flourish, and everyone is genuinely friendly. Unlike some large marketing agencies that can feel hierarchical, Precis fosters an environment where people can be themselves. Regardless of seniority, role, or office location, everyone engages in friendly conversations and light-hearted banter. In essence, we’re a fun and friendly group.

Tell us a bit about yourself! What did you do before joining Precis?:
Before I hopped aboard the Precis train in June 2023, I was living and working in Ghana, my home turf. My work revolved around building and improving apps for e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Wix, and BigCommerce. These apps had one mission: boosting organic traffic for online businesses through ratings and social proof.

What do you do at Precis? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily work at the company?
I work as an HR Generalist in our People-team, and you’ll find me at our Gothenburg-office. My daily work is characterised by a lot of variety, which I love! It can be anything from making sure the administration behind our People-processes are running smoothly and making sure all data in our HR system are correct, to administering insurances and time reporting as well as work permit applications.
How would you describe the culture at Precis?
Since day one I’ve experienced the Precis-culture as very open, joyful and prestigeless. I would also describe it as very knowledge-intense and with a lot of possibilities to grow and really make an impact. And, last but not least, I simply have to highlight the incredibly strong emoji game embedded in the organisation – amazing!
Are there any company traditions you enjoy in particular?
Definitely! Except for our fantastic Precis Festivals that happen yearly, I really appreciate our Birthday & Anniversary-fikas where we take the time to celebrate colleagues that have had their birthday or their Precis-anniversary during the last couple of weeks (shout out to our amazing Office Coordinators here). I also really appreciate our monthly Company wide learning time which is basically time set aside for learning and development for all employees.
Vaishalee Kanjaria
Senior Media Strategist, London
What do you do at Precis? Can you give us a glimpse into your daily work at the company?
As a Senior Media Strategist, I focus on bridging the gap between cross-channel media strategy. In a nutshell, this entails pushing digital strategies in line with client’s business objectives, evolving their digital maturity, and keeping tabs on industry changes that can be tested and iterated amongst our clients.
How would you describe the culture at Precis?
I would characterise Precis’ company culture as:
- Friendly – Our colleagues help to cultivate an environment where people feel respected and enjoy working with one another.
- Inclusive – Precis welcomes individuals from all walks of life and values opinions from all.
- Passionate – I have worked with passionate colleagues who strive to do meaningful work and share knowledge which makes for a positive working culture.
- Fun – Precis knows how to work hard and play hard! Our company festival or social team events allow a good balance of work and play.
Balancing work and personal life is essential. From your perspective, how does Precis promote work-life balance?
There are a couple of initiatives in place from Precis which make a good work-life balance more obtainable:
- Flexible working hours – Having flexible start and finish times allows us to prioritise important events that may be going on in our personal lives.
- Precis days – In order to encourage colleagues to rest and take regular time off throughout the year, Precis offer an extra 5 days of annual leave on top of our 25 days which brings the total to 30.
- Wellness benefits – Precis can help contribute to a monthly wellness benefit which can be put towards activities that promote physical or mental well-being i.e. gym memberships, exercise classes, therapy apps etc. This makes taking time away to focus on yourself and your well-being more accessible.

I’m a Digital Specialist in the Helsinki office. At the moment I work in the Precis’ B2B-team, which I enjoy a lot. B2B clients can be a bit more complex regarding their products, customer paths & everything in between – but I like that it can be challenging.

I started as an office assistant in Helsinki in 2020 while I was studying educational sciences in Helsinki University.
