People interviews: meet the SEO team

How does your day-to-day look like?
My day varies a lot, but a typical day can include a team meeting followed by working on various client tasks. Depending on the types of projects we are working on, this can consist of keyword research, optimizing content, updating roadmaps, tracking of performance, and client meetings where we discuss strategic initiatives.
What do you appreciate most about your team?
One of the things I really appreciate with my team is that everyone is super helpful. Despite each of us managing different clients, you can always count on the team to help you out if you get stuck in a task, or if you don’t have enough time to finish it. Additionally, I’m privileged to work with really talented people who gladly share their knowledge, develop tools, and take initiative to host workshops to make sure that we all can be the best SEO specialists in the market!
How would you describe your team’s culture in a few words?
Despite the SEO Hub being spread across various locations, I really feel a sense of unity. Our Monday and Friday meetings in addition to almost daily communication on Slack, keeps us connected. In these meetings we focus on sharing about our ongoing projects, but this is also a forum where we can raise questions and try to solve them as a team. We also use these meetings to share our learnings from the week.
Does your team have any rituals, traditions, or activities that you particularly enjoy or find meaningful?
As we operate across multiple offices, it’s a priority for us to foster team spirit through virtual social events. For instance, every first Friday of the month, we host a 30-minute virtual “Friday Cheers” session, where we celebrate our achievements and discuss weekend plans.

How does your day-to-day look like?
My day-to-day as a team lead within our cross-office SEO team involves a blend of client-centric and team-focused tasks and one day is never identical, as my tasks heavily depend on the evolving needs of our clients and the team. On the client side, I am collaborating closely with team members to develop client strategies and assist with project management with the goal of ensuring high client satisfaction is attained. Internally, I focus on team development and mentoring team members, and ensuring their opportunities for growth. I also oversee project management, resource planning and collaboration, and create a positive work environment that promotes the well-being and productivity of our team members. I am truly grateful for this diverse role.
What do you like most about your role?
What I like most about my role is the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. It’s gratifying to see our team’s strategies come to life and make a real impact on our clients’ businesses. Additionally, being able to mentor and develop team members in a striving environment is a motivating responsibility. Being a part of this and witnessing these two areas grow hand-in-hand is truly rewarding. Moreover, I highly appreciate the possibility of always evolving and directing my professional growth in a direction that matches both the company and more importantly my own future goals.
What do you appreciate most about your team?
What I appreciate most about my team is their unwavering commitment to excellence. They’re highly skilled professionals who are always willing to learn and evolve, both as a team and as individuals and always with the mindset of improving our client’s performance. The collaborative spirit within the team and the genuine passion for SEO make working with them admirable.
What accomplishment within your team are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the accomplishment of our cross-office team, given the challenge of not having the possibility to meet in person. Despite this constraint, we’ve achieved outstanding results for our clients, we have managed to consistently improve our offering and maintained a remarkably strong collaborative spirit.
How would you describe your team’s culture in a few words?
Our team’s culture can be described as collaborative, data-driven, and customer-centric. We value open communication, innovation, and a strong focus on achieving great results for our clients, by consistently collaborating on elevating each individual and thus, the team as a whole.
Does your team have any rituals, traditions, or activities that you particularly enjoy or find meaningful?
Our team has several rituals and activities that we find meaningful for evolving professionally as well as socially. Besides a structure of weekly sharing industry insights, SEO news and client case studies, we also engage in knowledge-sharing sessions that either are discussion-based or learning-basedAdditionally, on a cultural and social front, we have a monthly online lunch where team members come together to bond and enjoy a shared meal, despite our cross-office setup.
