I am currently studying my bachelor’s degree to become a global Business Engineer with specialisation in Software at VIA University in Aarhus. It aligned well with my combined interest in business and management, along with more technical knowledge in software and hands-on learning.
What do you do at Precis?
Here at Precis my title is Associate Digital Specialist, and I work together with my team on a broad portfolio of clients. I focus primarily on Paid Social, consisting of Facebook and Instagram, and I am currently working on learning YouTube advertising as well. My tasks consist of a variety of sizes and purposes. Mainly I am in charge of their Meta ads manager and in dialogue with our clients on how to further develop their digital marketing presence based on the data we get.
What inspired you to join Precis?
Precis is a rising star in the market without losing their integrity and their persona. The chill atmosphere, freedom to work from all over the world and overall companionship in the company was enough for me to prioritise this over all other opportunities I had.
How has your development journey been since you joined?
My development has been on a non-stop growth since I joined Precis. From learning how to create high quality ads, to being a trusted partner of our clients and having them believing in my skills has increased my confidence and helped me to strive even further.
How much did you know about digital marketing before you started at Precis?
I had a good understanding of paid advertising, especially in Paid Social, where I had helped other companies prior with their marketing. I did not know a lot about the more in-depth skills, strategies and complex structures of marketing across different channels, as well as attribution and digital maturity on the scale Precis offers.
What’s the most exciting thing you have learned since joining Precis?
I have learned how to become better at learning. Learning and getting better is such a vital part of Precis, and the freedom and opportunity to constantly grow professionally and personally is such a powerful environment to work in.
Have you been able to use learnings from your studies at your work?
One of the key lessons I have been taught at Precis has been to base my answers and reasons on data. Not only to look at the data from one perspective, but from every perspective possible and then twist and turn it to ensure it is correct. This has accelerated my understanding of the courses and coding I have been taught.
